Vasily Nikolaevich Yudin,
Professor at the Department of Theoretical Radio Technics of MAI (Moscow), Doctor of Science in technics.
Graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1977, took up the full-time postgraduate course in MAI in 1979. Defended his PhD thesis in 1984, was given the academic rank of associate professor in 1995.
Worked as the head of a division in the Central Scientific Research Institute of Radio Electronic Systems from 1981 to 1991. Entered the postgraduate course in Department 401 in MAI in 1991. Defended his doctoral thesis in 1995, was given the academic rank of a professor in 1996. Has been working in the Department of Theoretical Radiotechnics since 1995.
Scientific interests: integrating electronic resistance and radar devices for the purpose of creating radar-reconnaissance-resistance complexes with enhanced effectiveness and protection, jamming of global navigation satellite system user equipment, electronic countermeasures against radars of basic types (acquisition, missile guidance and multi-function radars) and missile target seekers for the purpose of protecting aircraft and ground targets, protecting electronic systems against radiation homing missiles, optimizing the methods, processes and resource distribution of electronic warfare, hiding objects from surveillance devices, computer-aided modeling of electronic warfare devices and processes, active electronic protection for electronic systems against means of surveillance, jamming and destruction.
